Steve McGuinness is an contemporary landscape painter and a graduate in Fine Art from the Manchester Metropolitan University, England. His work relates to the writers and artists of Romantic period and demonstrates a profound fascination with the natural world. 

He spent a productive period living and working in Palma de Mallorca, including a solo exhibition at the Museo del Casal de Cultura, Soller. Selected group exhibitions include, The Castlefield Gallery, Manchester, The Manchester Academy Exhibition at the City Art Gallery, The Stockport City Gallery, The Williamson Art Gallery, Oxton and the Eastern Approaches curated exhibition at The St Albans Museum & Art Gallery.


His work is represented on various online galleries and highlighted in The Spring Equinox Exhibition with Athezoc, a multidisciplinary cultural organisation concerned with spiritual, philosophical and environmental issues. He takes part annually in the HVAF Open Studio event, opening his studio in the beautiful cathedral city of St Albans, England. 

He works on a number of commissions each year including creating several pieces of original work for a Russian art collector. Recently, he has worked on designs for a company in the Health Care sector and collaborated on a project with a contemporary musician. His work is held in a number of private collections both nationally and internationally. He has taught and lectured extensively, including leading Art courses to the Andalucian region of Southern Spain. He has had work from his students exhibited at the Satcchi Gallery and the Dali Universe Museum in London.
